Deferred

What the design system explicitly hasn't decided yet. Picked when a screen forces the question, not before.

  • Dark mode. Out of scope for the first pass. The palette has been chosen with light mode in mind; a dark variant will need its own tokens, not an automatic invert.
  • Charts / data viz. Schedules and allocations will eventually need visual encodings (timelines, occupancy heatmaps). Pick a library and a chart palette when the first such screen lands; align with the teal accent then. Likely earns an ADR.
  • Motion. No transition tokens yet. MUI defaults are fine for now; revisit if/when a screen needs choreography (e.g. drag-and-drop scheduling).
  • Empty-state illustrations. Today an empty table shows a single muted text row. If the product needs richer empty states, decide whether to commission illustrations or stay text-only.
  • Print styles. Not addressed. May matter for printable schedules/rosters.
